Had a nice dinner and visit with Don's cousins Bobbie Long and Nina and Jerome Lee at the Orleans Casino in Las Vegas. Jerome was bowling in the High Rollers Bowling Tourney.

We are driving into Vegas this afternoon to visit with Don's cousin and her husband for a few hours.

Property update

Don and Tom have the back side of the house and one end covered with new siding and a new back door installed, windows back in and resealed. This morning they are working on new sofets.

Our Thanksgiving

was spent with friends - Joe and Lois (managers of Pahrump RV Park), their son Tom and Tom and Dawn.  We had a nice dinner with them after we helped prepare meals and delivered plates to all 40+ residents in the park. Don carved 3 turkeys. We had a good day even though we could not be with family and very much enjoyed being with good friends.

Update 1 today

Shoshone Propane came and laid the propane line and installed regulators so that now the house, rv and trailer that will be my craft shop all get propane from the big tank we had installed.

Update

Just  a note to let you all know what we are doing. We are parked on the property we bought in Pahrump, Nevada and have been enjoying company as well as working on the property. Bob and Jean Fields stopped by on their way from Ohio to Oregon and we enjoyed visiting with them. Wayne and John, 2 real nice fellas from Silsby, Texas have been here visiting and helped us get a start on remodeling two of the bedrooms in the house as well as get the canopy up over the RV. Tom and Dawn are here now and Don and Tom almost have the well house completed and then will start putting new siding on the house as well as resealing all the windows.

Satuday Don will get to attend the first Pahrump Gold Seekers
Club meeting and is of course looking forward to that.

So we are staying real busy!  We probably won't be dong any traveling till Spring.
