Well that about brings you up to date on what we have been doing.
We hope all of our friends have had a safe, happy, prosperous 2013 and that you are all safe and in good health. We hope you all have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
We have been invited to a Christmas Fiesta. For all you Alaskans that means eating Christmas dinner outside picnic style.
HO HO HO MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Haven't posted in awhile so will try to catch you up on what we have been doing.
We got home from Everett WA on Oct. 28. We had 0 trick or treaters on Halloween all was quiet.
All our hard work on Dads house paid off we had a buyer in 11 days from the time we listed it. The sale has closed so that part of things is taken care of.
We had to return to Everett on Nov. 19th to be in probate court on the 21st. On the 23rd we headed home again. Traveling with us was Rick and Cindy. They were able to stay through Thanksgiving and returned home to Vancouver, WA on Nov 29th.
As far as settling dads estate we are in the waiting period any creditors have 120 days in which to come forward.
In between trips we have been working on our house and property.

Still in Everett WA
We are busy cleaning and painting my dad's house and getting it ready to list for sale hopefully by end of next week. Rick and Cindy came from Vancouver, WA last weekend and were a very big help, we really appreciate it!

UPdate
Just to let every one know we are both doing fine. Temperatures are still in the nineties. Don is installing a water filter in the pump house. Waiting for cooler temps to work on house. I have been busy in the craft shop, making 2 handed oven mitts and working on a quilt.
My dad (82 yrs old) is in the hospital not doing to well. He had 2 blood clots removed and one drained around the brain after taking a fall.
We hope all our friends and family are well and happy.

Well as soon as we left I94 West to go to Little Big Horn, Custers Last Stand, Bighorn Mtn and canyon internet and phone service became real sketchy almost nothing. We are now back on I80 out of Rock Springs so service should be better.

Refrigerators
Last September we replaced the cooling unit in our RV refrigerator so we were very disappointed when last week our refrigerator quit working. After some troubleshooting and research we discovered the only thing wrong with it was the ambient temperature in the RV was over 100 degrees. Norcold who makes refrigerators for RVs and boats says they are not broken and have not permanently quit they just can not keep up in those temperatures you have to run air conditioners to keep temp down in
RV.
Well ok it would be nice to run air conditioner but when you are boondocking for us it would mean running a generator 24 hours a day. It would have to run during the day for air conditioner and at night for Don's CPAP machine. Not feasible.
SO.......... we are back at Howard and Jenny's in Minnesota set up in their yard where we can have constant electricity. Now we can run air conditioner and the frig is working. By the way Howard and Don had to go pick up new refrigerator for Howards house, the old one not working properly
See why titled this post refrigerators.

Bored?
OK, Don has only found 8 small flakes not worth enough to pay for the gallon of gas it took to run his pump. He is getting bored!
So yesterday, Friday, he spent the day working on an old tractor they have here at camp. It had not started and ran in 4 years but of course he got it running. The camp caretaker says it is running better than it ever did. They want to use it to mow the yard, the yard is the front acre that faces the paved street where the caretakers house is. It is a $350.00 a day fine for not keeping your yard mowed here.
The main field where the campers park is taken care of by a local farmer. He came the other day and cut and got 21 large round bales of hay. The hay is his payment for cutting. We were told these bales go for $400.00 a piece, so you do the math.
