Samantha

Granddaughter Samantha is visiting from Soldotna Alaska. We are loving having her here. Sunday April 5th we went to Dublin's Gulch California where she checked out the accommodations.

then we spent a little time checking out the village of Shoshone. From there we drove through Death Valley to Furnace Creek. We stopped at the spot that is 284 feet below sea level for her to check out then we again stopped and checked out Golden Canyon.

The day was hot and windy but we enjoyed.

2015

We 'd planned on leaving Pahrump and going to Quartzite after Howard's visit but Don and I have both come down with a flu bug so have cancelled those plans.

Now our plan is to hit the road end of April or first of May to places yet to be determined.

2014

2014 was a good year we were able to do a lot of traveling, see a lot of things and visit a lot of wonderful people. We were so fortunate.

Tombstone AZ

The end of October we spent sometime in Tombstone learning a lot of history. Attended a re enactment of the Shoot Out at the OK Corral. We had a good time.

Leaving Roger's

After visiting Roger and Lynn we traveled to Sonora Texas and visited with Terry Brown's dad at her brothers deer farm.
We had a great visit with Beanie. Beanie and Jason provided us with a wonderful tour of the ranch. I loved being able to pet and feed the deer. The babies were so friendly and came up and nuzzeled against your legs.

Roger Hughes

In November of 2014 we were able to travel to San Angelo Texas and park in Roger's yard which enabled us to have a wonderful  visit with Roger and Lynn. We really had a good time and enjoyed our visit.

We were stopped by the border patrol both entering and leaving Texas. Glad to see they were doing their job!

While there we visited

Fort Chadbourne and Fort Concho lots of history both were great places to visit!

Was surprised to see a business with this name in Texas

Had lunch at

We had a great visit! Thank you Roger and Lynn!!
